Applying more layers to a few pieces ....

Back to working on larger pieces this week .... layers of paint and paper.  I am very excited to have been juried into the annual Canadian Thanksgiving 'Images Studio Tour' ! LIKE the Images Facebook "Page' for updates on the tour and information on participating artists. This year's tour is Friday, October 7th to Monday, October 10th, 2016.
#Detail View of my studio table and wall - art in various stages of development.  A wee 6" x 6" piece to be donated to the Orillia Museum of Art & History for an upcoming fundraiser '100 x 100'. So caught up in the details ...  Studio table ... slowly progressing with wee works.  Detail of a 24" x 24" abstract mixed media painting (from my long lingering bluesy series).  Long fermenting, this is a many layered piece. Many hours and countless layers of papers, paint and metal build up to create a richly textured mixed media piece of art.
