Studio view: wall, in-progress series of 12" X 12" mixed media works  Studio view: drowning in the blues this week while building layers and texture. Rearranged a few large pieces on the wall to apply more layers. It is almost time for a session of 'taking away' with my lovely palm-sander and then more layers of paint and paper.  The other side of my studio = chaos. Piles of wee works in-progress. I usually thrive in the mess but feeling very challenged and discouraged in my creative process lately .... but I keep moving forward.   Applying more layers to a few pieces ....  Back to working on larger pieces this week .... layers of paint and paper.  I am very excited to have been juried into the annual Canadian Thanksgiving 'Images Studio Tour' ! LIKE the Images Facebook "Page' for updates on the tour and information on participating artists. This year's tour is Friday, October 7th to Monday, October 10th, 2016.
